It’s nearly Christmas so we want to express our profound appreciation to the Books in Homes Community… thank you to our Sponsors, Donors, Role Models, volunteers, schools, centres, and supporters. Because you have banded together so cohesively, we are delighted to announce that this year we distributed a total of of 120,459 books through our various programs. This translates into 3,164,472 books distributed since our inception! Congratulations to everyone for every part you played in contributing to and helping Books in Homes complete another successful year.

In 2024, Books in Homes fulfilled 33,121 student orders and delivered 99,363 books-of-choice to participating students to build their home collections. In addition, 15,420 Preview Pack books were delivered to the schools and communities to be consolidated into their respective libraries so that all current and future participating children can access all the books made available through Books in Homes. A further 5,676 Caught Being Good Books and Certificates were also distributed for schools and centres to use as rewards for children for reasons they determined. Once again, well done and thank you to everyone involved with Books in Homes!

We still have several days before the end of the calendar year so if the timing is right and if you have a few dollars left over in your Christmas gift fund, please consider donating to any of our campaigns that resonate with you. We have our general Books in Homes campaign where funds are used across Australia; our Western Sydney campaign, as well as our Postage Fund, which is always in need of donations to help us re-home our donated books across Australia. Every dollar helps, and every book in the home makes a positive impact.
