We’re several days away from Christmas and we want to express our sincere appreciation to the Books in Homes Community who band together to help us make the programs we deliver a great success. Thank you to our Sponsors, Donors, Role Models, Book Selection Committee, Scholastic Australia, volunteers, schools, centres, and supporters. We are delighted to announce that this year we distributed a total of 106,291 books through our various programs. This translates into 3,270,763 books distributed since our founding. Congratulations to everyone for the part you played in helping make this happen.

In 2025, we fulfilled 29,000 student orders and delivered 87,000 books-of-choice to participating students to build their home collections.

In addition, 14,316 Preview Pack books were delivered to the schools and communities to be consolidated into their respective libraries so that current and future children can access all the books made available through Books in Homes. A further 4,975 Caught Being Good Books and Certificates were also distributed for schools and centres to use as rewards for children. 

Christmas is a time for giving and, as always, your donations help keep Books in Homes operational. They are always welcome. Please consider making a Christmas donation to help us deliver Books in Homes in 2026!
