Books in Homes delighted to be the charity partner again for the fifth Words on the Waves Writers’ Festival, which will be held on the Central Coast, NSW on 28 May to 1 June 2025. This year the festival explores the theme burning bright, which explores the swirling forces that darken our world. But the festival looks forward with hope, with a deeply held conviction in the human capacity to share, create and blaze a path forward. Over each swell, a new horizon rises.

The Words on the Waves Writers Festival hosts author talks and panels, as well as evening conversation events, writing workshops, local book launches, a literary cruise, family fun day, schools program and more. The festival offers a diverse range of high quality literary events for both the Central Coast community and visitors to the area.

Books in Homes will be participating at the Family Fun Day on Sunday 1 June 2025. More information to come.
